Afghanistan Cricket Team Squad for WORLD CUP 2019

Hamid Hassan Afghan cricket player has been selected among Afghanistan’s 15 Squad who will go to England for the World Cup 2019. He is 31 year-old fast bowler, who last played an ODI in June 2016.
 Gulbadin Naib will lead the squad, despite criticism from senior players Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi following Asghar Afghan's removal as ODI captain less than two months before the World Cup. Afghan will remains a part of the team.
The 15-member squad was selected following a training camp held in Potchefstroom in South Africa that highlighted 23 players. Ikram Ali KhilKarim Janat and Sayed Shirzad were selected as the reserve players.
 The squad did not include four players, are Left-arm wrist spinner Zahir Khan, left-arm fast bowlers Shapoor Zadran and Fareed Ahmad, and top-order batsman Javed Ahmadi, They are from Afghanistan’s last ODI squad,  played against Ireland.
